Hey there! My name is Thomas, but you can call me T.
I love everything about fitness. Mind, Body, Diet, I enjoy it all! Growing up, I lived in a healthy minded home. My parents grew their own fruits and vegetables and canned them for us to eat later. We had our own chickens for eggs and meat, and a cow for milk. But they didn’t just grow healthy food and teach me about maintaining a good diet. They went to great lengths to keep me mentally as well as physically conditioned.
Every morning before school my wonderful mother would have us play brain and memory games, sometimes even doing simple meditation techniques to help us get mentally prepared for the day ahead. These were such simple things, but they have deeply impacted my life, and the way that I view mental well-being.
Sports were a little bit different for me. My mom wasn’t a huge fan of contact sports, so I didn’t play football or lacrosse as a kid, but she did want me to stay active and maintain healthy social interactions, so she signed me up for baseball. I loved everything about practice; throwing drills, sprints, the batting cages, pitching machine, fly balls, etc. But where I found a deep passion for physical fitness, was when I signed up for an afternoon tumbling class.
I didn’t know the first thing about tumbling, I just went because a few of my friends had told me it was fun. I began learning cartwheels, handstands, somersaults, and jump positions. It became apparent pretty quickly that I had a knack for tumbling, and I LOVED IT. After a few months, the coach approached my mother and I and asked if I would like to try for the boy's competitive gymnastics team. I did, and I have been involved in gymnastics ever since.
Even after I was done competing, I took the techniques and concepts of gymnastics and applied them to other areas of my life. My fitness routines have always included a focus on a strong mind-muscle connection, and total muscle control, both techniques I learned from gymnastics. I have seen and felt amazing results from training and exercising, using the techniques from gymnastics, and I want everyone to be able to understand and experience what I have!
It will change your fitness and mental strength forever!
